NEW 2-WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF 4TH STREET & 13TH AVENUE AND 5TH STREET & 13TH AVENUE

The City of Brookings will be installing 2-way stop signs on Friday, May 12, 2017, at approximately 10:00 AM at the following intersections:

  • 4th Street & 13th Avenue
  • 5th Street & 13th Avenue

The 2-way stop signs were recommended to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety during peak times by the Traffic Safety Committee and approved by the Brookings City Council. The public is advised to drive cautiously through these areas and be aware of the new 2-way stop signs.
