GREEN DRINKS – JESSICA GARCIA FRITZ’S DISCUSSION ON PUBLIC SPACE – MAY 25, 2017

The Brookings Sustainability Council is hosting Green Drinks on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 6:00 pm at Wooden Legs Brewing Company, 309 5th Street #100.  Every month people from around the world meet up at informal sessions known as Green Drinks. Green Drinks is free and open to everyone.

The topic for this Green Drinks will be Jessica Garcia Fritz’s discussion “Public Space (or a 2,000 Year History of the Space In-Between Buildings.” Garcia Fritz is an Assistant Professor for SDSU’s Department of Architecture and also a member of the Brookings Historic Preservation Commission. May is Historic Preservation Month.

These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. Come see what it is all about.
