MENTAL HEALTH TASK FORCE IN SEARCH OF LOCAL SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND GROUPS

Members of the Brookings Mental Health Task Force are currently identifying and investigating resources currently available in the Brookings area to support individuals affected by mental health issues. The Task Force is creating a comprehensive listing of all available resources and would like to include local support programs and support groups.  If you would like to share information of your entities support program or group, please contact Nikki Eining at (605) 692-8092 or nikki.eining@avera.org

The City of Brookings, Brookings County, and the Brookings School District have a long history of collaboration and cooperation, and are committed to a high quality of life for all.  The purpose of the Task Force on Mental Illness is to complete a comprehensive needs assessment, create a roadmap of services currently available to the mentally ill, and to propose improvements to the current services available to people with mental health issues in our community.
