Brookings, S.D. – The health, welfare and safety of our guests as well as our clients and employees are of the highest priority for the Swiftel Center.
Following the direction from the City of Brookings, starting Monday (March 16) through Sunday (March 22), the Swiftel Center Ticket Office, as well as administrative offices, will remain open. However, during this same time frame, all events with more than 200 attendees will be canceled or postponed. The Swiftel Center management is working with each event individually to determine cancellation or postponement status. The Swiftel Center website (www.swiftelcenter.com/covid19) will have the most up-to-date information regarding all event-related updates and status changes.
In response to the emerging, global public health concern involving coronavirus (COVID-19), the Swiftel Center is closely monitoring the guidance of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Travel Association, the South Dakota Governor’s Office, and the South Dakota Department of Health.
The Swiftel Center will continue to monitor these resources for the latest developments and encourages our guests, clients and employees to do the same for the most timely and accurate information.
The Swiftel Center is taking every reasonable precaution to promote a safe and healthy environment. Our focus is to ensure we meet our guests, clients and employees’ needs while doing our part to keep our guests, clients and employees as well as our communities safe.
