Admission Fee

Library cards are free to all Brookings County residents. There is a fee to obtain a library card for out of county users. Internet is available without charge to all users over 18 years of age. Some restrictions apply to minors.

The Brookings Public Library is located one block from the downtown dining and shopping area and is adjacent to the Children's Museum and Brookings County Courthouse.  The Library is open 66 hours per week, providing quality access to information, education, and recreation.
