The City of Brookings (the “City”) is seeking letters of interest by those developers, organizations, and individuals who may wish to pursue an affordable housing development opportunity in Brookings near the future intersection of 15th Street South and 7th Avenue South. The City desires to utilize this City-owned site as an opportunity to develop affordable workforce housing. To determine the level of development interest in the aforementioned property, the City is seeking letters of interest from developers, organizations and individuals. To better understand the level of interest and opportunities at this site, letters may include responses to the following:

• Identify housing types (owner or rental, single or multi-family, attached or detached, or a combination thereof) that will achieve affordable workforce housing you believe are best for the property?
• If a Request for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/RFP) was issued, would you likely submit a response?
• What information would you need from the City to be able to submit a proposal?
