Approximately 275 building permits are issued each year
for construction valued at nearly $20,000.00.
The City Engineering Department inspections include:
• Site location
• Footing inspections
• Framing inspections
• Final inspections
Electical inspections are handled by the State Electrical Commission

Plumbing inspections are handled by teh State Plumbing Commission
(1-605-773-3429).
