APRIL 2011 SPRING CLEANUP

Spring Cleanup will begin on Monday, April 4, 2011. The general public can haul their trash to the landfill free of charge until April 30, 2011.

• PAINT EXCHANGE — The annual Latex Paint Exchange will be on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Landfill. Citizens can bring in their old Latex Paint from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The recycled paint will be given away from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

• CURBSIDE PICKUP — Everything must be placed on the curb by Sunday night, April 10, 2011. The City will be canvassed one time only starting on Monday, April 11, 2011. Remember, there is no pickup in the alley and all items must be on the boulevard to help reduce damage to the grass.

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED AT THE CURB

• No tires (must haul to landfill for a fee)

• No remodeling materials

• No concrete from sidewalks, patios or driveways

• No hazardous waste

• No waste oil, liquid paint or chemicals

• Yard waste must be hauled to the landfill
