PARKS, RECREATION, & FORESTRY Allyn Frerichs, Director Sexauer Park CampgroundWestern Avenue & West 10th Street (Enter from Western Avenue) Sexauer Park is the only park in Brookings where camping is allowed. The campground contains 18 paved pads suitable for trailers, RVs, campers and similar vehicles. Five sites are constructed as pull-throughs. Additionally, there is a large grass site available for tents. Fees$15.00 per night for each camper pad; $10.00 per night for tents not on a camping pad. If a tent camper is using one of the 18 pads and using electricity they pay $15.00 per night. ReservationsConfirmed reservations can be made in advance with full payment and an additional $2.00 reservation fee. We accept Visa and MasterCard. Reservations taken without payment will be held temporarily until payment is received or another confirmed reservation is taken. All reservation fees are non-refundable. Two weeks is the maximum length of stay allowed in the campground. Advance reservation will be posted on the pad site. Specific pad sites may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed. Note: no water or sewer hook-ups are available at this facility. No uncontained fires allowed. No firewood is available on-site.
