How do I apply for employment with the City?
To review open positions within the City of Brookings, click on Employment on the home page at www.cityofbrookings.org. To make application for positions of interest, applicants can download, print and complete a City of Brookings employment application at the www.cityofbrookings.org website. Once completed, applicants are requested to return the completed application to the Human Resources Department at City Hall at 311 Third Avenue or at the South Dakota Department of Labor – Brookings Office at 1310 Main Avenue South. If you have questions with regard to open positions, please contact the Human Resources Department by phone at 605-697-8668 or by e-mail at dlangland@cityofbrookings.org. For questions with regard to all positions open within the Brookings area, contact the South Dakota Department of Labor – Brookings Office at 605-688-4350. I have a safety concern about one of the City facilities. Who do I contact about it?
Individuals with a concern about city owned facilities can report the concern to the department in charge of the building or contact the HR/Risk Management Department at City Hall by phone at 605-697-8668 or by e-mail at dlangland@cityofbrookings.org. Please provide the details of your safety concerns to include the exact location, etc.
