The following offices will become vacant due to the expiration of the present term of office of the elective officers:
One (1) Mayor, three (3) year term; and
Two (2) City Council Members, three (3) year term.
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on January 29, 2021. Petitions may be filed at the City Clerk’s Office located at the Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 3rd Street, Suite 230, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., CST, not later than Friday, February 26, 2021, or mailed by registered mail not later than Friday, February 26, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. CST.
